Dossier Connection

End-User License Agreement

Effective September 11, 2026

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs use of Dossier Connection, an internal application operated by Howler Investigative ("Howler," "we," "us," or "our"). By authorizing or using Dossier Connection, you agree to this Agreement.

Purpose and license

Dossier Connection automates limited accounting tasks between Howler's signed engagement workflow and Intuit QuickBooks Online. We grant authorized Howler personnel a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for legitimate Howler business operations.

Authorized use

You may use the application only with accounts and information you are authorized to access. You may not misuse the application, attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it for unlawful purposes.

QuickBooks authorization

The application accesses QuickBooks Online only after an authorized user grants permission through Intuit. You are responsible for confirming that invoice and customer information is accurate and that you have authority to create and send it. You may revoke access through your Intuit account.

Ownership and third-party services

Howler retains all rights in Dossier Connection. Intuit and QuickBooks are third-party services governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, features, or security practices.

Availability and disclaimer

The application is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The application does not replace review by qualified accounting or legal professionals.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Howler will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the application or a third-party service. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination and changes

We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to protect systems, data, users, or legal rights. We may update this Agreement as the application or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
